Summary:Some people experience intense anxiety even panic at the thought of any sexual interaction in which intrude and prevent them from enjoying a healthy sexual relationship and it cause dysfunction in interpersonal relations between couples. The purpose of this research was examines the relationships between personality differences and sexual phobia. Method of research was descriptive correlation. Sampling was purposeful in which 25 female, who were diagnosed with sexual phobia, were selected. Participants completed two questioners: 1.Five factor personality questioner (short form) with 60 questions. 2. Sexual function questioner with 30 questions. Descriptive statistics and Pearson's correlation tests were used for data analysis. Data indicated significantly positive relation between nervous character and sexual phobia, where as there was significantly negative relation between extrovert personality& openness with sexual phobia. The results didn’t indicate significant relation between agreeable and conscious character with sexual phobia. p<0/05.
