Summary:The structure of a magnetic clutch is considered. The model of the clutch may be reduced to a two-mass system. Representing the force exerted by the magnetic field between the half-clutches as a noninertial elastic coupling, various structural models of the clutch are created. On the basis of Simulink–Matlab object-visual simulation software, the transient processes in nonlinear and linearized systems are considered.
