Summary:In this conference proceeding, our newest results on the two-step esterification of phenylphosphonic acid (1/A1 and A2), on the hydrolysis of arylphosphonates (1/B) and other related compounds, on the Ni-catalyzed Hirao P–C coupling reaction (2/A), on the Kabachnik–Fields reaction of carboxylic amides (2/B), and on the reactions of α-hydroxyphosphonates, such as their phosphorylation (3/A) and rearrangement reactions (3/B) were summarized.
