Summary:This article deals with design, building and practical realization of a system for management of delivery and consumption of the electrical energy in production processes of a plant based on forecasting methods. The structure of the technical and software equipment is presented and discussed in the article. The presented management system forecasts the electrical energy consumption for middle – term period of one week. The system takes into account the government law documents which discuss the commercial rules of the electrical energy market. The design and simulations of the system are done within MATLAB environment.
