Summary:The main method of assessing the state of ship power plants in operation is to conduct thermal control: determination of power, economic and environmental performance of the main and auxiliary elements of the power plant. The frequency of control, control methods and controlled parameters are determined by regulatory documents. The analysis showed that the existing documents do not meet the conditions of operation of some objects of marine and river equipment, do not take into account the possibility of using modern methods and means of measurement. In order to improve the performance of thermal control, it is proposed to modernize the regulatory framework for monitoring, improve the measurement and processing of test results taking into account modern science and technology and the use of international experience of a differentiated approach to the objects of marine and river infrastructure. Proposes measures to achieve alignment upgrades with existing regulations.
