Summary: | Undoped Bi2FeCrO6 and 10 at. % La-doped Bi2FeCrO6 were prepared by a high-pressure solid-state sintering method. The phase structure, electrical, ferroelectric, and magnetic properties have been investigated. It is shown that doping La can increase the resistivity by three orders of magnitude at room temperature. Furthermore, La-doped Bi2FeCrO6 shows an enhanced magnetization, about three times that of undoped Bi2FeCrO6, and a high coercivity of ∼210 Oe. |
