Summary:Patients & methods: A 59-year-old caucasic man diagnosed in January 2012 with a stage III (T4N1M0) LAPC of the body-tail (60x30mm) encasing the superior mesenteric vessels and the small gastric curve underwent a 6 months neo-adjuvant gemcitabine-based chemotherapy and was planned for Whipple procedure. Since the tumor was still unresectable, US-guided IRE using the NanoKnife System by Angiodynamics has been performed.
