Summary:Repetitive control system is a servo system that achieves zero steady-state tracking error for any periodic disturbance inputs with a known period. This paper deals with a repetitive control problem for the case where the disturbance input consists of unknown periodic signals with some periods and the periods are unknown but are within known lower and upper bounds. A new adaptive repetitive control system with a recursive identification of the multiple periods is proposed. The proposed repetitive controller not only can guarantee the stability of the system but also can reject quickly any periodic signals with the unknown multiple periods.
