Summary:This paper investigates the problem of event‐triggered control for systems with asymmetric input constraint by establishing a novel saturation‐related triggering condition, which could reduce the number of events. By designing a subregion‐based control law, a sufficient condition is deduced to ensure the asymptotic stability of the underlying system with the proposed triggering rule. Moreover, an optimal algorithm is formulated to estimate the domain of attraction of the closed‐loop system. Finally, a numerical example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the derived approaches.
