Summary:Metabolic syndrome (Mets), obesity and overweight are widely distributed worldwide [1–7]. According to experts of the world health organization (who), MS acquired the character of a «pandemic of the XXI century» and is currently regarded as one of the major public health problems [8]. Approximately 30–40% of the population of middle and old age has metabolic syndrome and has an increased risk of premature death from cardiovascular diseases and diabetes mellitus (DM) 2-type [9].
