Syntheses and characterisation of some triphenylcyanoborate complexes of rhodium(II) and palladium(II)

The triphenylcyanoborate (N-bonded) complexes {η 5-(C 5Me 5)Rh(S S)-NCBPh 3} (S S− = −S 2PMe 2, −S 2PPh 2, −S 2CNMe 2), {η 6-(C 6H 6)Ru(S 2PPh 2)-NCBPh 3} and [Pd(S 2 CNEt 2)(PMe 2Ph)(NCBPh 3) have been synthesised and characterised by both spectroscopic and X-ray structural methods.
