Summary:The study “Research Report about the status of Social Entrepreneurship in Europe and how the status can be enhanced: National Report for Bulgaria” conducted under the Project SESBA: Social Enterprise Skills for Business Advisers presents an analysis on what extent is developed and adopted the concept of social entrepreneurship and the role of social enterprises for socio-economic development of Bulgaria by exploring opportunities to promote social entrepreneurship in the country through government policy, NGOs, business initiative, training and counseling. The report presents and compares different points of view, particularly with regard to recommendations on regulatory changes, and it is prepared in a form allowing each piece to be read and used independently.
