Summary:Microfluidics is a rapidly growing field that has the potential to revolutionize the way that pharmaceutical materials are developed and manufactured. In this review, we provide an overview of the fundamental principles of microfluidics and compare it to traditional methods used in the pharmaceutical industry. We also present a table on microfluidics materials used in pharmaceuticals and discuss the various applications of microfluidics in this field. The advantages of using microfluidics in the pharmaceutical industry are also discussed, including its high precision, speed, and cost-effectiveness. However, we also address the challenges and limitations of microfluidics in the pharmaceutical field, such as the limited range of materials that can be used and the lack of standardization. Finally, we discuss the future prospects of microfluidics in the pharmaceutical industry, including its potential to improve drug discovery and development, personalized medicine, manufacturing, and point-of-care testing. In conclusion, microfluidics has the potential to greatly impact the pharmaceutical industry, and its future prospects are very promising.
