Summary:Mol. Nutr. Food Res. 2023, 67, 2300444 DOI: 10.1002/mnfr.202300444 In article 2300444, Xiaojing Li, Haitao Li, and co‐workers show the chemoprevention of colitis‐associated colorectal cancer by yogurt. Mechanistically, the lactate receptor GPR81 is essential for intestinal homeostasis while d‐lactate in yogurt is a natural ligand for GPR81. Therefore, this study provides a rationale for introducing yogurt supplementation to patients with chronic inflammatory bowel diseases.
