Summary: | A facile and suitable approach has been improved to protect different amines including sterically hindered amino acid esters using Boc-Oxyma, as their carbamates in the presence of triethylamine as a base catalyst in neat or solvent medium at room temperature. A significant advantage of this protocol is easy handling, short reaction times, simple workup process, TEA as solvent plus catalyst under mild conditions, avoid column chromatography for purification technique and excellent product yields. |
