Summary:This video will discuss our experiences using selective clamping during partial nephrectomy with specific focus on leveraging advanced imaging. Video presentation Hackensack Meridian Health The patient is a 66 year old female with solitary kidney, a 9p renal mass, and a GFR of 55. The patient signed a written, informed consent for video and audio recording. We used a retroperitoneal approach to access the posterior tumor. Selective clamping was used with a combination of near infrared imaging with ICG and preoperative 3D imaging with IRIS. No intraoperative complications were seen and the patient tolerated the procedure well. Using a combination of near infrared imaging with ICG and preoperative 3D reconstruction augmenting reality allows for selective clamping in partial nephrectomy to become more reproducible.
