Summary: | Thirty-three cases with Perthes' disease who had been treated in our clinic were evaluated radiologically and clinically. The follow-up period after the beginning of treatment was from 5.6 to 32 years (average, 13.5 years). Conservative treatment was carried out in nine cases, and operative treatment in twenty-four cases. Chiari pelvic osteotomy was performed for fourteen cases that had coxa magna. The results were dependent on the method of treatment and those of Chiari group were favourable clinically and radiologically. |
