Summary:A series of 69 cases of aspiration biopsy cytology of soft tissue tumors were reviewed and discussed regarding sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of the true diagnosis. Sensitivity was 66.6%, specificity 98%, and accuracy of true diagnosis 90%. From these results, aspiration biopsy cytology was shown to be a useful procedure for screening of malignant soft tissue tumor.
