Summary:This work presents a study about business and community models intended to be a base for requirements elicitation for socio-technical systems development. The social requirements are difficult to deal with because they involve information about people, organization and environment; however they are fundamental to applying computing systems correctly. This work presents the business models to having a comprehensive view of business activities. In the complementary way, this work presents the community model that represents essentially the people to reach the business objectives. Some advantages and disadvantages of these models are discussed. Finally, based on these models, a simple case is presented and discussed.
