Summary: | N-heterocycles are important motifs in natural products and pharmaceuticals. Recently, the transition metal-catalyzed C-H amination has become a subject in the synthesis of N-heterocycles because of use of the readily available starting materials, high efficiency, economy, and practicability of the methods. This review summarizes recent advances in the copper, iron, palladium, rhodium, ruthenium, and nickel-catalyzed synthesis of N-heterocycles via C-H amination strategy. Keywords: N-heterocycles, C-H activation, amination, transition metal-catalyzed, synthetic methods |
