Summary:The aim of the research is to analyze the spatial diversity of tourism functions of Małopolska region. The analysis was performed by grouping districts of Małopolska province, which are similar in terms of characterizing them tourism functions. The method of Wroclaw taxonomy, also known as the dendritic method, was used for classifying the objects. As a result of the analysis, 6 groups of districts (types) different in terms of tourism functions determinants were distinguished. 19 districts and 3 cities with district status of Małopolska province were analyzed. The basis of the research was data obtained from the Local Data Bank, CSO from 2013. The paper presents a classification of districts characterized by using 12 indicators selected for the research.
