Summary:Field studies were conducted in order to investigate the efficacy of herbicide rimsulfuron in maize with three various commercial products (WG and OD formulations), in combination with three different nonionic adjuvants (Extravon, Trend 90 and Break- Thru S240). The investigation was carried out at two different locations during two years. The application of products in combination with adjuvants was done in one and two steps. The efficacy was evaluated on five weed species. The results demonstrated that the addition of any of the adjuvants improved the efficacy of rimsulfuron, but that there were no significant differences between products of different producers in the case of same or different formulation of rimsulfuron. Two different modes of application had no impact on efficacy.
