Summary:A closed‐loop “adaptive” 3D‐printing system and ambient‐processable conductive inks are developed by Michael C. McAlpine and co‐workers in article number 1707495 for the direct 3D printing of functional materials and devices onto arbitrarily moving freeform surfaces. The system tracks the motion of a target surface in real time and can perform adaptive printing of wireless electronics on human hands, and cell‐laden inks on skin wounds of mice, leading to a paradigm shift in smart manufacturing technologies for directly printing wearable devices on the body and advanced medical treatments.
