Summary:In this article, recent advances in the flow Liquid-Liquid (L-L) type extraction using high-pressure CO2 as extraction solvent are reviewed. It is described how flow L-L type extraction processes were achieved and their effectiveness in fast extraction and separation. Recent results obtained in our group, as well as those in literature, are summarized, and challenges for implementation in real flow-process are discussed.
