Summary:(Girault) (Hymenoptera: Signiphoridae) was recorded in 2022 as a new parasitoid species of the serious pest of citrus (Maskell) in Greece, in two different areas, i.e., the provinces of Laconia and Messinia. Previously, was recorded in Greece parasitizing (Comstock) and (Signoret) in early 60s. It is mainly a parasitoid species of scale insects belonging to Diaspididae (Hemiptera: Coccomorpha), whiteflies, or a hyperparasitoid of aphelinids.
