ChemInform Abstract: An Improved Procedure of Miyashita Protocol for the Preparation of Ureidomethylene Derivatives of 1,3-Dicarbonyl Compounds

The title compounds are obtained by condensation of various 1,3‐dicarbonyl compounds, urea, and trimethyl orthoformate using Zn(OTf)2 as catalyst under solvent‐free conditions.
