Summary:Implant‐assisted complete dentures, particularly those utilizing implant‐supported bar systems (RP‐4), offer significant advantages in patient satisfaction and prosthetic function compared to conventional dentures. However, complications can arise during the direct intraoral pick‐up procedure, such as inadvertent resin polymerization in undercut areas, which may lock the overdenture in place. This report introduces a predictable, digitally guided technique to retrieve a locked implant‐supported bar overdenture using the original digital design to locate screw access channels and guide targeted occlusal drilling. The method enables the removal of the prosthesis with minimal damage, allowing for chairside repair without the need to remake the denture. This approach enhances the management of such complications and aligns with modern digital workflows in prosthodontics.
