Summary: | The total facilities included access to a seclusion room off to our centre left, a small seating area to our right and three plastic chairs. Unlike many other areas of Mental Health Care which have developed as part of a centralised policy with top down infrastructure, the Psychiatric Intensive Care movement developed organically. There was of course also the secondary effect of improving the job satisfaction and safety of staff determined to assist patients who were most in need. |
