Summary: | The University of South Carolina (USC) Upstate's German Studies program has evolved considerably since its inception and today boasts healthy enrollments in its lower and upper-level courses. Turning to the students enrolled in lower-level L2 courses when deciding what's next in terms of program development is key to effective curricular adjustments and sustainable growth of a German Studies department. The main data for this analysis were obtained from a 30-item survey administered to a group of 115 undergraduate students of German enrolled in the lower-level German sequence in the Spring semester of 2023. |
