Summary:The circulatory system is one of the challenging topics in science that involves many abstract concepts and relationships between these concepts, leading to learning difficulties for students. Therefore, aiming to enhance the teaching of the circulatory system, this study designed a plugged computational thinking-oriented instructional module. The developed teaching module is aimed at 6th-grade students and includes 10 different activities. These activities were implemented over a total of 16 lesson hours, during which students attempted to solve 10 different problem scenarios. As a result of the implementation, students experienced a more concrete learning experience by establishing connections between everyday life and scientific topics. Thus, this module provides activities for teaching the concepts of the circulatory system and the relationships between these concepts in a more concrete and effective manner. Additionally, we believe that this study will provide guidance in integrating computational thinking skills into science education or other disciplines.
