Influence of the Mach Number of Flow Past a Spherically Blunted Cone Made of Combined Materials on its Heat Exchange Characteristics

The influence of the Mach number of a supersonic flow past a spherically blunted cone on the temperature of its surface made of combined materials with high thermal conductivity is investigated. Simple methods for estimating the reduction of maximum temperatures of such a surface are proposed.
