Summary:The creation of new Russian reagent VTIAMIN™ based on calculated characteristics is substantiated. The economic efficiency data of the reagent created under the import substitution program are given. The water-chemistry conditions based on Helamin and VTIAMIN chemicals of Russian TPPs are compared. The experience gained in the implementation and adjustment of amine water-chemistry conditions using various chemicals, as well as laboratory studies and pilot tests allow us to recommend using VTIAMIN reagents for water treatment at combined-cycle plants with HRSGs and conventional steam power units of thermal power plants with drum boilers.
