Summary:Methods This study included the first 140 patients who were scheduled for either transfemoral (TF-TAVI) or transaortic (TA-TAVI) aortic valve implantation at SIFA University Hospital, using the Edwards SAPIEN XT(TM) (ESV), Boston LOTUS valve(TM) (BLV), Medtronic Corevalve and EVOLUTE-R(TM) (MCV). Conclusion Routine TAVI using both ESV, BLV and ESV with a selection of approaches is feasible and allows treatment of a wide range of patients with good overall procedural success rates and 30-day and 6-month outcomes.
