Summary:Chemical oxidation method has been used to synthesize polypyrrole/titanium dioxide (PT) and polypyrrole/titanium dioxide-MWCNT (PTM) nano composites in the occurrence of ammonium persulphate as an oxidizing agent, by polymerization of pyrrole along with titanium dioxide and titanium dioxide-MWCNT. Different concentrations viz. 15, 30, 45 and 60 weight percents of titanium dioxide and titanium dioxide-MWCNT in pyrrole were used. The nano composites have spherical type shaped particles which have cluster formation as confirmed from SEM photos. It is established from A.C. conductivity studies that the highest conductivity occurs at PT (30 wt. %) and PTM (60 wt. %) nano composites. Also, it is noticed that conductivity has increased for 30 wt. % of titanium dioxide in PPy and also, for 30 wt. % of titanium dioxide-MWCNT in PPy. A.C. conductivity of the PTM nano composites decreased is noticed by comparison with PT nano composites
