Summary:Currently, the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “All-Russian Research Institute of Aviation Materials” has developed a fairly large range of carbon fiber for the aviation industry. With the transition to Russian carbon fillers, it becomes necessary to control the quality of the manufactured products, in particular, the amount of sizing composition on the fillers and control temperature of their thermal-oxidative degradation. In the paper, a methodological approach has been used to determine the weight fraction of the sizing composition in carbon fillers and temperature of their thermo-oxidative degradation by the method of synchronous thermal analysis.
