On the Possibility of Using Adhesive–Sealants Based on MS-Polymers for Structural Glazing

A new one-component hybrid adhesive–sealant, Advaflex-3201, based on MS-polymer with high elasticity and strength has been developed. Extended tests have shown that Advaflex-3201 adhesive–sealant is high-modulus, has high adhesion to metals and glass, increased heat resistance up to 150°C, and high...

Summary:A new one-component hybrid adhesive–sealant, Advaflex-3201, based on MS-polymer with high elasticity and strength has been developed. Extended tests have shown that Advaflex-3201 adhesive–sealant is high-modulus, has high adhesion to metals and glass, increased heat resistance up to 150°C, and high resistance to weather conditions and UV radiation’ therefore, along with some high-modulus silicone sealants, it can be used for structural glazing.
