Summary:Properties characterizing the main components that compose epoxy adhesives, namely epoxy oligomers, hardeners, and curing catalysts are considered. The effect of each of these components exerted on the properties of adhesives and the optimal content of each component are presented. The type of reactions occurring in the course of curing of glues with the use of different hardeners is shown. Modifying additives for epoxy oligomers and their effect on the properties of adhesive joints are presented.
