VCD patients were female (86%), overweight (68%), had allergic rhinitis (79%), GERD (67%), psychiatric conditions (50%), and coexisting asthma (40%).Triggers included: strong scents (58%), inhaler therapy (33%), exercise (23%), and stress (19%).
