Summary: | Flexible, high‐performance neural recording microelectrode arrays are developed by Rouhollah Jalili, Gordon Wallace, and co‐workers in article number 1805867. Highly ordered graphene microfibers coated with a thin layer of platinum provide excellent performance in terms of current collection, low impedance, high charge‐injection capacity, and excellent sensitivity. The implantable microelectrode arrays record and detect neuronal activities with outstandingly high signal‐to‐noise ratio and minimum foreign‐body response. |
