Summary: | Transdermal Drug Delivery
In article 2300066, Canan Dagdeviren and co‐workers report a soft, conformable embodiment of a wearable ultrasound patch for transdermal delivery of cosmeceuticals to the skin. The patch comprises a 2D array of bulk piezoelectric transducers embedded in a poly(dimethylsiloxane) substrate. The patch demonstrates a 26.2‐fold enhancement in the delivery of niacinamide to porcine skin in vitro with 10 min ultrasound application. |
