Summary:The enantiomers of the fungicidal and bactericidal (3-chloro-1,2,4-thiadiazol-5-yl)-(3´-chloro-1´,2´,4´-thiadiazoyl-5´-ylthiomethyl)-sulfoxide (2) have been separated by liquid chromatography on triacetylcellulose. Tested in a photometer assay on Torulopsis H 24 and Erwinia carotovorum (+)-2 and (-)-2 show practically the same activity and do not differ from the racemic mixture.
