Summary:Objective. This article describes a system that allows you to optimize energy costs and reduce the likelihood of heating problems in apartment buildings associated with illegal connection to the hot water circuit. Methods. The methods of theoretical research and mathematical modeling were used in the study. Result. The problem of the subject area under study is actualized and its solution is presented. A conceptual model of a system for monitoring the consumption of thermal energy in a hot water supply circuit as part of a smart home management system has been developed. A method for monitoring the consumption of thermal energy of multi-apartment residential buildings is proposed. Conclusion. The method under study will help to monitor the engineering and technical system of residential buildings, preventing cases of illegal introduction into the hot water supply circuit, and can also be integrated into a smart home system.
