Summary:The superhydrophobic coatings have various applications that determined by the substrate, the molecular structure of the coating, and the environmental conditions. The final properties of the coatings depend on the physicochemical characteristics of the substrate and coating. According to the substrate and coating properties, the application of the superhydrophobic coating were determined. Therefore, in first step, substrate and molecular structure of the superhydrophobic coatings were investigated. Afterwards, in the second step, application of these coatings is divided into the three major group and examined.
