Summary: | A 36-year-old woman was admitted for severe dyspnea and cough, after inhalation of a waterproofing spray. Chest radiography and computed tomography revealed diffuse ground glass opacities in both lungs. These findings improved after 4 days of steroid therapy. Pulmonary function tests showed a low diffusing capacity. It was believed that the patient had suffered direct pulmonary damage from inhalation of the waterproofing spray. |
