Summary:this work presents the results of the research on the modification and implementation of the Challenge-Based Learning (CBL) methodology for the assimilation of basic concepts of robotic arm design. The objective of the study is to evaluate learning and motivation in students, through a pretest and a posttest exam. The analysis of results showed the pros and cons of applying CBL. The challenges, the achievements achieved and the areas of opportunity for the improvement of the implementation of said methodology are concluded.
