Summary:This work evaluates the impacts of the connection of plug-in electric vehicles in the voltage quality on distribution systems. The behavior of the loads was probabilistically modelled considering real statistical data of the behavior of the users, in order to consider the variability of these elements. The simulations considered different scenarios of level of penetration and loading of electric vehicles. The results indicated a tendency to degradation of the voltage provided, but differently affecting the voltage levels considered in the simulations. The applied probabilistic analysis provides important information regarding the behavior of the system, which would not be obtained if deterministic methods of analysis were applied.
