Summary:Abstract This article proposes a virtual synchronous generator (VSG) control strategy with power regulation for island microgrids. A model is built in Matlab/Simulink, and the influence of key parameters on the inertia and damping of the VSG is analyzed through simulation experiments. It has been verified that virtual synchronous generators can adjust the power output in real time, thereby regulating the output of clean energy, reducing the fuel consumption of diesel generators, and achieving maximum economic benefits.
