Summary:Biopolymers are a prominent class of functional materials ideal for high-value applications, and they fascinate researchers and experts from various fields. Polymers are flexible building blocks in many chemical combinations and blend to create composite materials with complementary qualities. The biomedical use of polymeric biomaterials was analyzed scientifically and technologically in this study, along with a compilation of their uses, manufacture, mechanical qualities, and key characteristics for the biomedical sector. The volume of scholarly publications and patents demonstrates the current knowledge of polymeric biomaterials. These biomaterials may now supplement, strengthen, or perform a particular role in the human body. Immune reactions persist due to the complexity of biological systems, impeding the growth of tissues and functioning organs in a laboratory setting.
