Summary:Essential oil is extracted from distillation unit. Steam distillation is most process is used for extraction of essential oil. The unit capacity is available for distillation process is very small and these are mostly used for laboratory purpose such as modular distillation apparatus or clevenger apparatus. For large scale production the distillation unit can be used as a product. The product can be beneficial. A new large size capacity of portable distillation unit is presented which can extract oil up to 500 kg. A selection of plant species from geraniaceae family which is geranium subjected to direct steam distillation. The experimentation will work two season plants which are summer and winter. The combination of cost effectiveness and flexibility with high yield of better quality of essential oil after varieties of options in new agricultural production system and startup.
