Summary: | The field of adult education has undergone significant changes, both in terms of finality, content, and modalities. These changes have been generated, on the one hand, with the help of the findings made in adult research (for instance, with regard to the specificity of adult learning or the specific socio-cultural and professional behaviors of adult learners, their behavioral patterns being also formed by the set of values they hold, etc.) and, on the other hand, these changes have appeared due to the profound and unforeseeable transformations of our society, occurring at a fast pace. |
